The Fall Mountain boys basketball team topped Springfield 49-39 on Saturday. Noah Lantz, Joey Murdoch, and Jared Walker played aggressive defense that helped the team stop Springfield from going on any runs. Murdoch contributed with 13 points that included draining 3 three-pointers while teammates Wilson netted 10 points.
“Not having school for two days really affected the guys after coming off a big win against Bellows Falls,” said head coach Justin Cassarino. “Getting back to .500, record wise, is huge for our team and we are looking to continue our run next week.”
